Rams place 2nd in golf meet
BATESVILLE — The Paragould Rams golf team finished second in a four-team high school meet on Monday at the Eagle Mountain course.
Forrest City won first place with a team total of 333. PHS was next at 345, followed by Southside and the host Pioneers.
Carson Riggin turned in the low score for the Rams with a 77 in the 18-hole match, followed by Miles Respess with an 83 and Dylan Bateman’s 84. Aaron Duty had a 101.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they join Greene County Tech in a three-team match at Jonesboro Country Club.
