The Paragould 10-year-old All-Stars pulled no punches in earning a trip to the upcoming state tournament.

In a best-of-3 district playoff for a state berth, Paragould whipped Randolph County 10-0 Saturday after romping to a 20-3 win on Friday night at Bland Park.

Friday, Paragould rolled to an easy victory as they pounded Randolph County pitching for 19 hits. Paragould leading hitters were Tanner Harvey with three hits and five RBIs and Preston Hart with three hits. Adding two hits each were Drew Mullins, Tyler Harvey, Corey Turner, Josh Thompson and Chase Hutson. Garrett McCord chipped in with two doubles and drove home four runs. Trent Flatt had one hit.

Tyler Harvey held Randolph County to three runs over three innings for the win. Mullins pitched a scoreless fourth.

Paragould overwhelmed Randolph Couny again on Saturday, winning 10-0 behind a strong pitching performance from Trace Huckabay. Huckabay allowed no runs on three hits.

Offensively, Paragould was led with two hits each from Huckabay, Preston Hart and Corey Turner. Tyler Harvey and Mullins hit safely once. Harvey’s hit was a bases-loaded triple.
