Greene County population increases significantly...again

The population in Greene County increased the sixth most of any Arkansas county from 2010 to 2012, according to recently released United States Cenus numbers.

Greene County's population increased from 42,090 in 2010 to 43,163 in 2012, an approximately 2.5 percent increase in two years. By comparison, all of the counties that surround Greene County except Craighead County lost population from 2010 to 2012.
