Saylors celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Charles David and Loyce Saylor celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 4. They were married on Dec. 24, 1971.

Charles David and Loyce Saylor celebrated their 50-year anniversary on Saturday Dec. 4, 2021 at Catoosa Mason Lodge.

There was a total of 60 friends and family in attendance.

Charles David and Loyce went to Paragould High School in Paragould, Arkansas and were friends within their circle of friends. They married on Dec. 24, 1971.

David was a long-distance truck driver for 35 years and Loyce was an accountant for 40 years.

David and Loyce have three daughters, Georgia, Rebecca, and Melissa.

Six grandchildren: Joshua, Micha, Zac, Mayzie, Sara, and CharlieAnn.

They have six great-grandchildren: Brantley, Remington, David, Lilly, Saylor and Baby Lucy.

Charles David and Loyce have been members of the Catoosa community since 1981 and their children attended Catoosa School System.

Charles has been active in the Gene Autry Catoosa Masonic Lodge since 1982 and has held many posts and duties. He has been the secretary of the lodge for over 10 years.
