BRTC offers mobile admissions and registration

Brittany Hall, Admissions Counselor registers a student for classes at Black River Technical College.

The Black River Technical College Office of Admissions, with cooperation of Financial Aid staff, is offering a Mobile Admissions Service to area high schools in an effort to help students register for college classes in the fall.

Students will be advised, registered for summer and/or fall terms, and counselled on financial aid on their respective high school campus. This effort is to encourage students to take advantage of early registration for the fall semester.

Students are appreciative of the opportunity to get set for college in an unconventional yet convenient method. Brookland High School, Walnut Ridge High School, Rector High School, and Sloan-Hendrix High School have taken advantage of the mobile registration, which is scheduled to be at Marmaduke High School today, according to BRTC.

For more information about BRTC’s Mobile Admissions opportunity, contact Angie French, Director of Admissions, by phone at 870-248-4023 or by email at For more information about enrolling in BRTC, visit -enrollment.

Black River Technical College is a 2-year community college in Pocahontas and Paragould that offers associates degrees and certificates in general education and technical and career education. The College houses one of the state’s law enforcement training academies and fire science academies.
