The Greene County Circuit Court has accepted pleas in, or otherwise disposed of, the following criminal cases, as indicated below.

Steve Alva Elliot, 35, has negotiated a plea of guilty to charges of one count each of failing to register as a sex offender and possession of between two and 10 grams of a Schedule I/II controlled substance, both Class C felonies. He was not prosecuted on other charges. He was sentenced to 60 days (less 54 days credit for time served in the Greene County Detention Center) and to 72 months suspended imposition of sentence. He was also fined $500 and ordered to pay $690 in costs and fees. If his suspension is vacated he could be sentenced to up to 20 years (less 120 days credit for time served) in the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) and/or a fine of up to $19,500.

Johnathan Lamar Beal, 33, has negotiated a plea of guilty to a charge of one count of possession of less than two grams of a Schedule I/II controlled substance (methamphetamine or cocaine), a Class D felony; plus misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to 60 days (less 51 days credit for time served) in the GCDC plus a total of 84 months probation. He was also fined $250 and ordered to pay $440 in costs and fees, plus a $35 monthly fee for probation supervision. If his probation is revoked, he could face up to six years (less 60 days credit for time served) in the ADC, fined up to $9,750 or both.

Hunter D. Allen Watkins, 19, has negotiated a plea of guilty to a charge of theft by receiving, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 120 days in the GCDC – in the Work Release Program – and to 72 months suspended imposition of sentence, ordered to give a DNA sample, fined $250 and ordered to pay $690 in costs and fees. If his suspension is revoked, he could face up to six years (less 60 days credit for time served) in the ADC and/or a fine of up to $9,750.

Martha Darline Norsworthy, 55, has negotiated a plea of guilty to a charge of one count of furnishing, using or possessing prohibited articles, a Class B felony. Prosecutors did not proceed against her on other charges. She was sentenced to 36 months (less 46 days credit for time served) in the ADC and to 72 months suspended imposition of sentence. She was also ordered to pay $565 in costs and fees. If she violates the terms of the suspension, she could face up to 17 years (less 46 days credit for time served) in the ADC.

Patheina Nicole Dillon, 31, has negotiated a plea of guilty to charges of one count each of possession of less than two grams of a Schedule I/II controlled substance (methamphetamine or cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia to ingest, etc., both Class D felonies. She was sentenced to time served (31 days) in the GCDC and to 60 months probation. She was also ordered to pay $565 in costs and fees, plus a monthly fee of $35 for probation supervision.
