On Oct. 21, Crowley’s Ridge College and Freed Hardeman University agreed to and signed a formal articulation agreement. This agreement will provide the opportunity for students to pursue an academic track in the field of healthcare, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
A qualified participant will earn an Associate of Science in General Studies at Crowley’s Ridge College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Freed Hardeman University.
Dr. Richard Johnson, President of Crowley’s Ridge College, said, “As we begin this partnership with Freed Hardeman University, we are convinced both schools will be richly blessed. We are grateful for the opportunity to offer students more options to acquire a quality education through Christian institutions.”
Through this development, candidates who satisfy qualifications and complete their Associate of Science degree at CRC will be admitted to Freed Hardeman’s dynamic nursing program. These students will also receive an exemption from the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), which is typically a prerequisite for admission.
Students who complete the requirements for this program and enroll in the nursing program qualify for scholarships offered to students currently enrolled at Freed Hardeman.
