ENJOYING POWHATAN STATE PARK

Powhatan State Park has two canning workshops coming up on July 2 and July 9, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each day. The workshops are $20 per person. Learn how to preserve food through canning. Visitors will leave with a sample canned good made at the workshop. Participants should bring a sack lunch. Reservations are required. Call 870-878-6765 or email powhatan@arkansas.gov to reserve space. For more information on events or to request an accommodation contact the park at 870-878-0032.
