Fire Prevention Commission grant

Arkansas State Police Maj. Lindsey Williams, the state Fire Marshal, presents a grant check from the state Fire Prevention Commission for $3,890 to the Paragould Fire Department for purchase of education materials for school students and senior citizens, as well as for smoke detectors. From left are State Rep. Jimmy Gazaway, firefighter Brian Brown, Paragould Mayor Josh Agee, Paragould Fire Chief Kevin Lang, Williams, Paragould Fire Marshal Chris Rollings, Assistant Fire Chief Kyle Jackson and State Sen. Blake Johnson. Williams said Gazaway and Johnson were instrumental in helping fund the commission to enable the grants.
