MARMADUKE -- Jesse Kinard scored 33 points Tuesday to lead Buffalo Island Central to a 65-54 victory over Marmaduke in 2A-3 senior boys' basketball.

BIC jumped in front quickly, leading 24-7 after the first quarter. The Mustangs also led 35-23 at halftime and 51-31 after the third quarter.

Austin McCoy scored 16 points to lead Marmaduke (10-12, 3-4 conference). Clay Farmer, Andy Agee and Easton Bradshaw added eight each, Parker Lentz got five and Keagon Gamel two.

Brayden Carmichael and Nathan Brinkley added 12 points each for the Mustangs (13-9, 4-4 conference). Carmichael also grabbed 12 rebounds.

BIC (23-2) won the junior high game 58-29 as Jaron Burrow scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

For Marmaduke, Carsen Grimes had nine, Gabe Cook and Maddux Loar five each, Anthony Fornash and Blake Gipson four apiece and Kamron Gamel two.

Marmaduke salvaged the seventh-grade, 34-22. Carson Robinson led the Greyhounds with 10.

The Greyhounds travel to Melbourne on Friday.

Bears sweep host Falcons

Crowley's Ridge Academy had three players in double digits, but Mammoth Spring took home a 61-44 win over the Falcons in senior boys basketball Tuesday.

Jake Tillery led the Falcons with 14, followed by Keaton Sheppard with 13 and Kayden Trout with 10. Jay Kern scored five and Avery Perkins two.

Mammoth Spring also won the junior high game, 49-36.

CRA was led by Jesse Beliew's 15 points. Jace Elms added 13 and Ryder McBride got eight.

The junior B game went to the Bears as well, 26-19. Sam Marshall topped CRA with eight.

CRA hosts Delta C-7 (Mo.) today.
