A visit to a local hospital has led to the arrest of a man on felony sex charges.

Greene County sheriff’s deputies have arrested Jamie Ellis Dunlap, 48, on a charge of second-degree sexual assault, a Class B felony.

According to a probable cause affidavit sworn by Deputy Lt. Ashley Worcester of the sheriff’s department, the arrest followed investigation into a report of an underage girl being brought to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center after allegedly being sexually assaulted. The victim reportedly told investigators that Dunlap touched her on the outside of her clothing in her genital area. She also told investigators Dunlap had put his hand up her shirt.

According to information made available by the Greene County Detention Center (GCDC), Worcester brought Dunlap to the GCDC on Oct. 13. He remains there on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
