Stars can now be checked out through the library

Pictured are Jeffrey Hoeper (left), of the Arkansas Natural Sky Association, and Mike Rogers, Director of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Library, as the telescopes were being delivered with staff training.

The Greene County Public Library in Paragould can check out telescopes to patrons to help improve an interest in astronomy.

Through a grant in cooperation with the Arkansas Natural Sky Association and the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium, the library has two Orion StarBlast 4.5-inch Astronomical Telescopes.
