Greene County Tech’s school board has deferred until its April 15 meeting a final decision on requiring masks for staff members.

According to information made available by district superintendent Gene Weeks, the delay is to allow time for those staff members who received their second vaccine on March 31 to become fully protected. “Right now there are several combinations,” Weeks said on April 12, “including wearing masks when we can’t social distance; and when there are no active cases, not wearing the masks.”
