Two Paragould men are facing at least a half-dozen criminal charges in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins over a weekend.
Jabaz J. Lajabnil, 18, and Ranny J. Jokon, 21, were arrested Oct. 24 after an investigation by Paragould police.
Authorities said they received several reports Oct. 22 about cars being broken into and items stolen near Rockingchair Road and McDaniel Road. Police later developed the pair as suspects.
According to a probable cause affidavit, one of the victims received an electronic location Oct. 24 for one of the stolen items and contacted the suspects.
Both Lajabnil and Jokon turned over multiple stolen items to the victim police said.
Officers also said they interviewed the pair later on Oct. 24 and during a Mirandized interview, both made incriminating statements.
A day later, officers recovered some more stolen items at a residence on Stidham Lane during a consensual search, police said.
Both Lajabnil and Jokon were arrested on suspicion of three counts of breaking or entering, one count of felony theft of property and one count of misdemeanor theft of property.
A $45,000 bond was set for Lajabnil and a $75,000 bond was set for Jokon in the case. Both are expected to appear in circuit court on Oct. 27.
