Henry Dewayne Jones, 76, of Paragould, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.

He was born Dec. 12, 1944, in Paragould, to Dave and Maggie Jones. Dewayne was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a talented carpenter and enjoyed playing cards. Dewayne was an avid fisherman that enjoyed sharing his catch at family fish fries.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents; children, Freddie Joe Boyd, Keith Boyd, Stanley Boyd and Lisa Boyd; and siblings, Darrell Jones, Jimmy Jones, Robin Jones and Anthony Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patsy Jones; brother, David (Cheryl) Jones of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; sisters, Katrena (Stan) Hill, Gledia (Gary) Thomas, and Shenia (Andy) Ford and sister-in-law, Michele Jones, all of Paragould; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you for all of your help to Vickie Michelle Nolen and Mistie French Blanton.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Dec. 31, from noon until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Breck Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
