Dorothy Pearl Hamilton, 92, of Paragould, passed away Friday at Greene Acres Nursing Home.

She was the daughter of the late Perma and Halen Morris Drope. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired customer care representative of City Light & Water. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and spending time with her family, especially her precious grandbabies.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Dee Hamilton; son, Davey Lee Hamilton; granddaughters, Jamie Suzanne Hamilton and Sara Marie Hamilton; and brothers, Joe Drope and Bob Drope.

Survivors include daughter, Donna (Charles) Pope of Paragould; son, Tim (Grace) Hamilton of Paragould; sisters, Betty Pruett of Paragould and Landa Ashmore of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services are private and under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Children’s Home, Inc.
