Carol Regina Phillips, 83 of Marmaduke, passed away on Friday July 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 19, 1937 in Paragould to the late Samuel Alexander and Lydia Bell Evett Wilson. She was married to Bill Phillips on February 9, 1955 and to this union, four children were born. Carol was a retired bank courier and a faithful member of the Marmaduke Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and canning, camping at Buffalo River, shopping at Walmart and was an avid Scrabble player.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband: Bill Phillips; her siblings: Melbourne Wilson, James Wilson, Marscell Wilson, Nelson “Spiv” Wilson, Elizabeth “Betty” Wilson Farley, and Patty Ruth Wilson.

She is survived by her children: Russell (Donna) Phillips of Marmaduke, Angela (Curt) Cross of Columbia, Tennessee, Darla (Phil) Bradley of Pfafftown, North Carolina, Byron Phillips of Marmaduke; grandchildren: Brandon (Linda) Phillips of Paragould, Evan Bradley (Jeremy) Owens of Winson- Salem, North Carolina, Katy Cross of Monduli, Tanaznia, Hayden Cross of Columbia, Tennessee, Samuel Bradley of Winson-Salem, North Carolina, Angela Phillips of Marmaduke; one great-grandchild: Kadyn Phillips of Paragould; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.

The family will have a graveside committal service at a later date under the direction of Irby Funeral Home of Marmaduke.
