PARAGOULD — Balancing her time between preparing for the spring 2021 A.I.I. conference matches, Crowley’s Ridge College head volleyball coach Carissa Winn has signed two setters to prepare for the 2021 fall season.

Harrisburg’s Jadyn Hesse and Millington, Tennessee’s Emma Speight will suit up in the fall of 2021 for the Lady Pioneers.

Jadyn Hesse is a 5-4 setter out of Harrisburg High School. The former Lady Hornet is no stranger to post-season accolades, being tabbed for 3A Northeast All-Conference and 3A All-State honors in addition to being invited to participate in the 2020 Arkansas Activities Association All-Star Game.

“Jadyn is a true team player,” Coach Winn said of her signee. “We are excited to see how she can use her skills with our team at the next level.”

Emma Speight crosses the Mississippi River to join the Lady Pioneers after prepping at Millington Central High School. The 5-6 Speight split her time between the back row as a defensive specialist and at the net as a setter.

Coach Winn said of the MCHS Trojan, “Emma is eager to learn and willing to put in the work to compete and we are excited to watch her grow as a player at this level.”

The Lady Pioneers are staying loose to prepare for the 2021 spring conference season.
