Arkansas State 68, Air Force 46
JONESBORO (AP) — Norchad Omier matched his career best with a season-high 22 points plus 16 rebounds as Arkansas State easily beat Air Force 68-46 on Sunday.
Marquis Eaton had 16 points and seven rebounds for Arkansas State (8-3). Desi Sills added 12 points.
Jake Heidbreder had six rebounds for the Falcons (7-3), who had just 18 made baskets, six of them from beyond the arc.
A.J. Walker, the Falcons’ leading scorer entering the contest at 19 points per game, had 6 points on 3-of-11 shooting.
Missouri State 106, Central Arkansas 70
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Isiaih Mosley had 28 points as Missouri State romped past Central Arkansas 106-70 on Saturday night.
Jaylen Minnett had 14 points for the Bears (8-4), who picked up their fourth straight victory. Ja’Monta Black and Gaige Prim added 14 points apiece.
It was the first time this season Missouri State scored at least 100 points. Missouri State scored 61 second-half points, a season best for the team.
Darious Hall had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Bears of Central Arkansas (1-9), who have lost six straight. Camren Hunter added 16 points, while Jaxson Baker scored 13.
Blue Mountain 94, Crowley’s Ridge College 69
BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. — Blue Mountain College turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and ran away with a 94-69 win against Crowley’s Ridge College on Saturday.
Blue Mountain took a 37-34 lead into halftime after a Brandon Williams three-pointer at the intermission buzzer. Then the Toppers turned up the defensive pressure in route to the win.
Bo Roberson led CRC with 16 points in his season debut. Braxton Cousins added 15 points in the loss.
Crowley’s Ridge returns to the Carter Activities Center to face a Natural State rival in Lyon (Ark.) College. The Scots visit Paragould today, tipping off at 6 p.m.
